Since its inception in 2016, COLOR IN SOUND has begun laying the groundwork for three core programs designed to meet the mission. They are: the Boston Youth Music Series, the Northeast Youth Music & Arts Festival & the Music Four All program.
Boston Youth Music Series
COLOR IN SOUND works to continuously develop and cultivate strong roots within the youth community through monthly ‘open mics’ for youth under the age of 25.
Northeast Youth Music & Arts Festival
COLOR IN SOUND is the creator and producer of an annual festival called Northeast Youth Music & Arts Festival that will showcase music and artwork from over 700 young performers hailing from an array of locales throughout the Northeast, including Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maine, and Vermont.
Music Four All
COLOR IN SOUND has begun campaigning for donations of music equipment. The goal of securing this equipment is to provide music programming to populations with disabilities, mental illness, and addiction issues, as well as low to moderate income (LMI) communities.
